Irish Jiu-Jitsu Academy Family Day

Irish Jiu-Jitsu Academy Family Day will take place in the Waterford dojo on Sunday 11th December 2011 from 11 – 2.30pm.

 

This fun-filled day will include grappling and stick sparring competitions for both juniors and seniors, a projectile competition for seniors only, and demonstrations by all students to present the skills that they have acquired to date.

 

Grading certificates will also be presented on this day in addition to several special awards.

 

This will be followed by a Christmas party for the students and their families.

 

Happy Christmas 2011 from the Irish Jiu-Jitsu

All are welcome to come and join us either as participants or spectators.

Waterford Jiu-Jitsu Junior Grading

Everyone at the Waterford Jiu-Jitsu Club would like to congratulate our junior students on achieving their yellow tag in their grading on Thursday November 17th 2011.

Our young students performed their techniques very well on the night and the entire club is especially proud of their achievement.

Jiu-Jitsu Academy 2011 Halloween Party!!

Well folks it’s that time of year again – it’s time for our spooky Halloween party.

The party is happening on Thursday October 27th at 6:30pm – 7:30pm so now is a great time to start getting your costume ready for the our big party night.

We’re providing lots of tasty and spooky treats on the night for all our young jiu-jitsu students too – including something extra special that we’ve never done before….it’s a big secret though….

We’re also going to have lots of games on the night and there might even be some prizes for the best costume of the night too…..so we want to see your best effort at getting all dressed up and ready to scare Sensei Hazel and Sensei Jonathan!

So get your scariest costume or mask ready for our creepy and spooky 2011 Halloween party folks!!
