Irish Jiu-Jitsu Academy Seminar, 2010

On Sunday 18th April 2010, another successful Irish Jiu-Jitsu Academy training seminar took place in the Waterford dojo. This multi-disciplined seminar incorporated classes in Jiu-Jitsu, Aiki-Jutsu and Kenpo, in addition to the Fillipino fighting systems of Atienza Kali and Warriors Eskrima.

There was a great turn-out at the event with students from Dublin, Maynooth, Wexford, Kilkenny and Waterford participating. The students had a unique opportunity to experience and embrace the skills of each of the instructors who all displayed an impressive and wide variety of techniques and styles throughout the day. The line-up included Renshi Noel McHugh (5th dan Aiki-Jutsu), Renshi Hazel Farrell (4th dan Jiu-Jitsu), Guru John Hoey (Warriors Eskrima), Johnny Quinn (Atienza Kali), and Mr. Darryl Murray (3rd dan Kenpo).

Renshi Hazel Farrell would like to thank everyone who contributed to making this such an enjoyable and successful event.
