New Irish Jiu-Jitsu Academy Club Opens In Kilkenny
A new Irish Jiu-Jitsu Academy club opened in Kilkenny on Wednesday 19th May in Top Pro Martial Arts Studio. The club is being run by Sensei Jonathan Quinn (2nd dan Jiu-Jitsu) with a strong focus on the practical application of both modern and traditional Jiu-Jitsu. The opening night was well attended with some familiar faces returning to embrace the fresh teaching approach and extensive repertoire of Sensei Quinn and some new students also training for the first time. All of the Irish Jiu-Jitsu Academy students and instructors would like to wish Sensei Quinn the very best with his new venture, which with his experience and impressive skill-set has the potential to thrive and develop into a strong and successful club.
Classes take place on Wednesdays at 6:30 – 8:00pm in Top Pro Martial Arts Studio, Irishtown, Kilkenny. All are welcome.

Irish Jiu-Jitsu Academy Seminar, 2010
On Sunday 18th April 2010, another successful Irish Jiu-Jitsu Academy training seminar took place in the Waterford dojo. This multi-disciplined seminar incorporated classes in Jiu-Jitsu, Aiki-Jutsu and Kenpo, in addition to the Fillipino fighting systems of Atienza Kali and Warriors Eskrima.
